Juvenile Review Board - serves children and youth under the age of 16 who exhibit behaviors of concern that require both an intervention and diversion from the Juvenile Justice System. The Board provides recommendations related to restitution, community service, counseling and other various interventions.
Child Development - Community Policing - is a collaborative program between Guilford Youth & Family Services and the Guilford Police Department in addressing the comprehensive needs of children and families who witness or are victims of violence and or trauma. A voluntary evaluation and assessment is available in accessing appropriate resources and services that will provide support and
assistance.
Community Mobilization Team - assesses and evaluates the community's need for program development, implementation and accessibility of resources in response to issues surrounding prevention and intervention of alcohol, tobacco and other drug use, as well as other issues impacting children and families in the community.
Safe Homes - is a new program which is being co-sponsored with the Community Mobilization Team. It provides parents with an opportunity to refer to a list of like-minded parents who are concerned about knowing that their children are going to be in a safe environment that encourages non-use of substances by youth.
State & Youth Initiatives - are positive youth development programs that focus on partnerships aimed at creating changes in the environment to reduce underage drinking, tobacco and substance abuse.
