1. Approve minutes of:
1.1 Minutes of November 6, 2006 – Regular Meeting
1.2 Minutes of November 13, 2006 – Special Walk Meeting
1.3 Minutes of November 16, 2006 – Special Meeting
2. Public Forum (limited to 2 minutes regarding agenda items)
3. Finance Director (Sheila Riegelmann):
3.1 Receive monthly report from Finance Director.
4. Town Engineer (Jim Portley):
4.1 Act on recommendation of town engineer to approve the request for
a road bond reduction for Sunset Ridge Drive in the Sunset Ridge
Subdivision.
4.2 Act on recommendation of town engineer to approve the request for a
road bond reduction for Richie’s Way in the Old Kutawoo Subdivision.
4.3 Discuss and take possible action on request to waive the bidding requirements for paving for Meadow Hills Drive.
4.4 Consider and take possible action setting a date of December 5, 2006,
7:30 p.m. at the Guilford Town Hall for a Public Informational Meeting regarding the Guilford Green Enhancement Project.
4.5 Remove from the table and take possible action on request for
matching funds for planning of the Shoreline Greenway Trail from
East Haven through Guilford and recommend to the Board of Finance.
5. Interfaith Housing (Betty Augustyn):
5.1 Discuss and take possible action on request from Guilford Interfaith
Housing to borrow funds from the Land Acquisition Account until
their grants are processed.
6. Consider and take possible action on request from business owner to waive the late filing penalty for personal property declaration.
7. Appointments and Resignations:
7.1 Remove from the table and take possible action on appointment of
Gloria Nemczuk to the Housing Authority to fill a vacancy for a
term ending March 31, 2007.
8. Requests for Use of Town Property:
8.1 Act on request from the Guilford Rotary Club to place a sign on the
Green advertising its Annual Frosty 5K Road Race taking place
January 1, 2007. (Sign Placement December 20-January 2)
8.2 Act on request from the Guilford Community Fund to place its
Annual Campaign Sign on the Southwest corner of the Green until
February 28, 2007. (Sign Placement November 20-February 28)
8.3 Act on request from Steven Jacobs to place an unattended display of a
Chanukah Menorah on the Green December 14-28, 2006.
8.4 Act on request from the Henry Whitfield State Museum to place a sign on the Green advertising its Thanksgiving Weekend at the Old Stone House taking place November 24-26, 2006. (Sign Placement 11/20-11/27) (5th Sign 11/20-11/27)
8.5 Act on request from the Henry Whitfield State Museum to place a sign on the Green advertising its Firelight Festival taking place December 1, 2006. (Sign Placement 11/20-12/1) (6th Sign 11/20-11/27) (5th Sign 11/28-12/1)
