1. Approve minutes of:
1.1 Minutes of October 3, 2005 – Regular Meeting
2. Public Forum (limited to 2 minutes regarding agenda items)
3. Finance Director (Sheila Riegelmann):
3.1 Receive monthly report from Finance Director.
4. Town Engineer (Jim Portley):
4.1 Receive report from town engineer regarding street excavation
bonds with regard to pavement and shoulder work along Long
Hill Road.
5. Health Director (Dennis Johnson):
5.1 Discuss and take possible action on resolution authorizing Dennis
Johnson, Health Director to make, execute and approve on behalf of
the Town of Guilford any and all contracts and amendments thereof
with the State of Connecticut Department of Public Health to provide
and enhance a public health preparedness program.
6. Conservation Commission (Jennifer Allcock):
6.1 Consider and take possible action on request for $1,000 to purchase
and install two chain gates across ATV access routes to the James
Valley Preserve in North Guilford.
7. Discuss and take possible action on request to purchase the GMC Dump
Truck located at the Public Works Department.
8. Consider and take possible action on informational press release regarding
proposed Charter changes that will appear on ballot.
9. Requests for Use of Town Property
9.1 Act on request from the Community Nursery School for use of the
Green and to place a sign on the Green advertising its Little Folks
Fair taking place June 3, 2006. (Sign Placement May 20-June 3)
9.2 Act on request from Guilford Interfaith Ministries to place a sign on
the Green advertising its Veteran’s Day Lasagna Dinner taking place
November 8, 2005. (Sign Placement October 25-November 8)
